Thomas Gresham is a fiction writer, filmmaker, and screenwriter. He has work published in Superstition Review, Permafrost, Rougarou, and The Ocotillo Review. His story “Peach” was the winner of Carve Magazine‘s 2018 Prose & Poetry Contest, judged by Flannery O’Connor award winner EJ Levy. His work has also been a finalist for annual awards at Fairy Tale Review and American Short Fiction. His screenplay “The Autobiography of Others” was a semifinalist for the 2018 Cinestory Fellowship, and was Top 20% (out of 7,000 screenplays) with the Academy Nicholl Fellowship (presented by the Academy of Motion Pictures).

Thomas graduated magna cum laude from Texas State University with a BA in English-Film Theory. He is a current MFA candidate in Fiction at San Diego State University, where he is also the editor for Fiction International.
