Tex Gresham is the author of Sunflower, This Is Strange June, Easy Rider II: Sleazy Drivers, and Heck, Texas. His work has been published in Hobart, F(r)iction, The Normal School, and The Pinch, among other places. His short story collection Violent Candy will be published in February 2023 by Tolsun Books. Tex is the recipient of the 2020 Humanitas David and Lynn Angell Comedy College Fellowship. His screenplays have received recognition from numerous contests and fellowships including the Academy Nicholl Fellowship, Script Pipeline, Screencraft, and Cinestory. Tex has a BA in Film Studies from Texas State University, an MFA in Fiction from San Diego State University, where he was also the editor for Fiction International, and an MFA in Writing for Dramatic Media from UNLV. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his partner, V Ruiz, and their kiddo.
